2. How to judge the quality of LED?

The main parameters to judge the quality of LED are peak wavelength, spectral radiant bandwidth, and luminous intensity, beam half intensity angles, flux, radiation fluxes, the luminous efficiency, chromaticity coordinates, color purity and dominant wavelength, etc. LED is a luminescent device with narrow beam, high brightness, and the LED radiation may harm the human eye retina. LED applications for different occasions, international standard specify the requirements of the effective radiation limits and testing methods. At present in the European Union and the United States, the radiation safety of LED lighting products has been seen as mandatory safety requirements.

Reliability index is the measurement of the normal work ability of LED in all sorts of environments. It is particularly important in the liquid crystal back light and big screen display. Life is the quality index that evaluates the available cycle of LED products, usually indicated by effective life or end life.
